    Language learning progress:

Currently, I know how to say "Hello, my name is…" in French, which is "Bonjour, je m'appelle…" I learned that phrase(s) through the YouTube video provided, over common French phrases and terms. There are also other French phrases within the YouTube video I learned and went over. However, I cannot recall them by memory as I do for "Hello, my name is…" I also watched the alphabet videos twice and noticed that most of the letters from the French alphabet are pronounced in a similar fashion to the Spanish and English language. The only letters that were not pronounced the same were "E, G, J, R, Y." At the moment, I do not know the letters to the French alphabet by memory yet. I will give you guys an update next week on how my French alphabet learning is going.

    Thank You,
    Priscilla Sambrano

  7. Bonjour everyone!
    Here is my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwDcZs1RBsQ

After watching the videos, I was able to learn the french alphabet! I really enjoyed watching the first video, it helped me memorize the alphabet because of the song that was combined with it. After I watched the video "French Alphabet pronunciation" I was able to determine which letters I was saying slightly incorrectly. I learned that the letters A, B, C D were pronounced just like they would be pronounced in Spanish. I also learned that F, L, M, N were pronounced like letters in English. When I began watching the "Top 30 french phrases-beginner edition" I quickly became confused when we put the letters together and realized that some letters in phrases were silent. I also learned that literally translating an english phrase to French would not many any sense. Overall, I enjoyed the videos and I am learning a lot already!

    1. Kenyia: This assignment has to be done in French, not in English. I do not need to see your skills to spell in English.

  8. Bomjour a tous! Hello everyone!
    Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFRDyG6cZbg&feature=youtu.be

As I was watching the alphabet in French video, I noticed that I didn't struggle as much as I thought I would to pick it up. However, I am struggling a bit with the letters "O" and "E" because I keep pronouncing "O" as "E" and vice versa. I keep getting those mixed up for some reason. I noticed that a lot of the letters sound similar to the letters in English and Spanish. After watching the 30 phrase french video, I noticed that there were a lot of silent parts. After watching the videos assigned, I began searching other videos out of curiosity and I have noticed that a lot of French words, require you to not pronounce the last letter.
